How to download the files
Thanks to our new provider, it has become affordable to host all downloadable files on the same server as this website on this adress: http://www.cyber-mehl.net/files/. Clicking here will open a new page with a directory of all the files. Browse to the directory of your choice, select a file and save it on your harddisk.
All the files are zipped (a compressed archive) - see below how to open such files.
Zip files
Unless you are on Windows XP, you will need a little program to uncompress the contents of the zipped files. If you don't have one already, you can find one here for free:
Run the program and extract the contents of the zip file to a directory of your choice.
Picture Format
The downloaded pictures are in the jpg-format and on most computers you will be able to view them one by one by simply double-clicking them.
But there are more convenient ways to view a whole set of pictures in a slide show. We recommend IrfanView for this purpose which you can download for free here: IrfanView
Video Format
To watch the videos on your computer, you may need to install the DivX:-) Codec. It can be downloaded from many sites in the internet, try it here or perform a search for it.
If you can see the movie but have no sound, you will also need to install the Audio-Codec. Try to download it here or perform a search for it.
The codecs must only be installed once - simply follow the instuctions on the screen after running the installation executable. If you have problems or questions, don't hesitate to send a mail.
